Overview Truck Stoppers is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sime Motors, with a brand‑new custom‑built Tauranga branch designed to deliver faster, better service for our truck customers. The role reports to the Service Foreman and involves diagnosing and repairing heavy‑duty trucks, performing routine maintenance, and mentoring apprentices within our modern facility. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using cutting‑edge diagnostic tools. Conduct routine maintenance, service, and inspections to keep our trucks performing at their best. Collaborate with experienced pros and mentor apprentices. Adopt LEAN principles, champion Health & Safety, and uphold our Values. Continuously grow your own skills. Qualifications Hands‑on experience with heavy‑duty trucks. Strong commitment to safety and a proactive mindset. Excellent problem‑solving skills. Class 5 licence (training available). NZQA LV4 in Heavy Road Transport or Heavy Plant & Equipment Reliability. Willingness to commit to the team.
