The Opportunity: We have an opportunity for a Food & Beverage Assistant on a Casual basis to join our team at RNZAF Ohakea . RNZAF Ohakea is located within the Manawatu district, 26 km west of Palmerston North, 48 km from Whanganui, and 24 km from Marton and Feilding. With some of the best fly fishing, hunting, great walks, skiing, and mountain bike trails in the country within easy reach, it’s an outdoor enthusiast’s dream. This busy and diverse Airforce Base is the hub of the air wing in New Zealand and offers a unique chance to gain insight into the military world, supporting officer and junior/senior ranks training. Come and work in one of NZ’s top outdoor regions, Manawatu / Ruapehu – home to Tongariro National Park and Whanganui National Park, two New Zealand Great Walks, and stunning fishing beaches. There’s plenty to see and do all year round. In this role, you will help deliver quality food and beverage services while providing outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced Defence environment. You will play an important part in ensuring customers receive excellent service, safe food, and a welcoming dining experience every day.
