Key responsibilities: Lead end-to-end product development, from concept and feasibility through to launch and commercialisation Track product lifecycle workflows, including supplier coordination and shipment Build and manage project plans, timelines and budgets to keep deliverables on schedule and within budget Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder communications, keeping objectives aligned and progress visible Conduct market research to identify opportunities and validate product-market fit Identify and manage project risks, with contingency plans to resolve issues promptly Oversee quality assurance to meet industry standards, regulatory requirements and client expectations Develop technical product guides and prepare business cases, forecasts and metrics to support decisions Document lessons learned to continuously improve development processes What we're looking for: Proven project management experience in construction or related sectors, with success leading product development initiatives Strong knowledge of construction products, materials, processes or technologies, and relevant industry standards Excellent organisational and planning skills, able to manage multiple complex projects and lead cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in project management tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail Experience in product innovation, launches or commercialisation is advantageous Join a 35-year-old, family-owned business building its next generation of timber products — flooring through to cladding and panelling — with real scope to shape how they come to market.
