STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - SENIOR

Position is based in: Christchurch, New Zealand The Ideal Candidate Will Have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, with minimum 8 years of broad-based experience, including a track record of solid results in structural engineering or in other civil projects with similar skills requirements Ideally CPEng Seismic knowledge and background would be desirable Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including proven technical report writing skills Well presented Team player and can work independently Experience and sound knowledge of New Zealand building codes and standards Strong analytical skills Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of products, Spacegass Have excellent people skill Good in sales and business development Have vast network Strong desire to success and excel Trustworthy Reliable Loyal Duties Include Team leader for a small team of 3-4 structural engineers Provide guidance and technical support to younger engineers Structural assessment and reporting Structural design for all type of buildings Construction monitoring Maintaining quality throughout a project, implementing improvements when determined Working and communicating effectively with clients, management, peers and subordinates Review work carried out by junior and intermediate engineers Business development to expand client base particularly in commercial and industrial space Benefits On offer to you will be an attractive remuneration whilst working with a small yet professional team in a friendly working environment with flexibility for working hours and on-going staff training opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
