Salesperson - Heavy Transport Equipment

About the Role Roadmaster is led by a sales team operating in a nationwide network, we are seeking an experienced and committed Salesperson, preferably with knowledge of the heavy transport industry to join us. We require a Salesperson dedicated to working with existing and acquiring new customers with a focus on maximising revenue and market share for Roadmaster. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting our business and equipment and maintaining customer relationships. This role requires someone who is able to travel around the Central North Island and Lower South Island to expand our customer base and achieve sales and growth targets. Intermittent attendance to the Sales Office based in Rotorua will also be required. Key Responsibilities Promote our heavy transport equipment and generate new business within the transport industry Achieve revenue targets and define new strategies to promote company growth and success Manage customer enquiries, prepare quotes, sales agreements and communicate with customers as to the status/delivery of their product Work with our manufacturing and service/repairs departments to ensure smooth transition from quote to finished product and to meet customer expectations Who we are looking for Experience in the heavy transport industry or relative sales experience Understanding of heavy transport equipment and HPMV legislation Technical and/or certification knowledge of heavy transport equipment is advantageous Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong organisation and problem-solving abilities Self-motivation and ability to work independently Proficient with MS Word and Excel What we offer Competitive salary package Company vehicle and fuel card Company phone, laptop and expenditure allowance Supportive team environment and career growth opportunities If you have a drive for growth and success, a passion for sales and customer relationships and knowledge of the heavy transport industry, then apply now.
