Job Description
A Bachelor’s or Higher Degree is the minimum entry required for the position We are seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the DevOps team and overseeing the planning, design, development, and deployment of software in collaboration with cross functional teams. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices, with specific expertise in Azure DevOps tools. Responsibilities Lead and manage the DevOps team to ensure efficient and seamless operations. Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments. Work closely with development teams to identify and implement automation opportunities. Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform and Ansible. Implement and manage Azure DevOps tools such as Azure Boards, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Test Plans, and Azure Artifacts. Implement and manage GitHub, Nexus repository, and ArgoCD for version control and continuous deployment. Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and participate in on call rotations. Continuously improve scalability and performance of our systems. Ensure system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions. Collaborate with software engineers to understand software scalability and performance needs and ensure the necessary infrastructure is in place. Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation. Mandatory Skills Extensive experience with Azure DevOps tools and practices. Strong knowledge of CI/CD Pipeline design and implementation. Proficiency in managing infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible. Experience with container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service and Red Hat OpenShift. Familiarity with GitHub, Nexus repository, and ArgoCD. Preferred Skills Experience in cloud security best practices. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. #J-18808-Ljbffr
