Nurse Educator - General Medicine

We are seeking a Nurse Educator in Adult Medical nursing to complement our team at Te Toka Tumai's General Medicine services. The Nurse Educator is responsible for promoting, facilitating and providing clinical education to maximise health care delivery, enhance patient outcomes, promote clinical excellence and evidence‑based professional nursing practice. Applicants must be a Registered Nurse with experience working in a General Medicine and acute assessment unit setting. We value a sound nursing philosophy that demonstrates commitment to clinical leadership, quality care delivery and ongoing professional development. Proven project management and/or nursing leadership At least 5 years nursing experience, including 2 years in a senior level (level 3‑4) Ability to create and nurture an environment that encourages a team approach to achieve high levels of clinical effectiveness, efficiency and productivity Exceptional communication skills Ideally, you will have recently completed or be studying toward a relevant postgraduate qualification.
