Babcock Australasia welcomes emerging talent into its Engineering Internship Program. This 12‑week paid internship is for students in their penultimate year studying a Degree or Master’s in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. The internship is located at Devonport Naval Base, New Zealand. Responsibilities Participate in active projects and collaborate with experienced professionals. Contribute to real work, problem‑solve, and grow in a fast‑paced environment. Use industry tools, technologies and adhere to defence industry standards. Requirements Be in your penultimate year of study of a University Degree. Be eligible for New Zealand Security Clearance. Possess exceptional communication skills. Demonstrate initiative and the ability to prioritise workload. Adapt smoothly in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Be available for the program dates 23 November 2026 to 19 February 2027.
