The Role As a Generate Adviser (Outbound Specialist), you will be responsible for identifying cohorts of our existing member base that are at a higher risk of transferring out, making proactive outbound contact and offering to provide advice on their KiwiSaver. You will focus on enhancing the member experience, cross‑selling services like Managed Funds, and mitigating the risk of members transferring out. During member contact, you will source and develop client referrals, inform members about relevant updates and new products. You will also assist with conducting KiwiSaver Account reviews and use this as an opportunity to get KiwiSaver and Manager Fund referrals. In terms of advice provision, you will conduct KiwiSaver reviews, provide advice, and answer ad‑hoc member queries from various business channels. You will ensure customer service satisfaction and maintain good client/member relationships. You will identify and document key insights to improve Generate’s service offering and turn these insights into actionable initiatives that can be deployed across Generate. All advice and service must comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies. About You Have completed or in the process of completing New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5). At least 2+ years in equivalent sales, phone‑based advisory, customer service or similar role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build and sustain long‑term customer relationships, fostering rapport and trust. Flexible, adaptable, and composed, demonstrating impressive organisation and time‑management skills. Resilient and able to overcome difficulties, open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement. Thrives both independently and collaboratively, believing that sharing information empowers the team to achieve its collective goals. Strong IT literacy and the ability to adapt to new technology, maintaining a relentless focus on customer experience.
