Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor

ConsultANZ is seeking both Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor to join a leading civil contractor delivering major infrastructure projects in Wellington, New Zealand. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in managing project costs, commercial controls, contract administration, and financial reporting while working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage project cost forecasting, budgeting, and commercial reporting. Administer contracts, claims, invoices, payments, and variation requests. Monitor project costs, financial performance, and commercial risks. Prepare accurate cost forecasts, financial reports, and project updates. Manage subcontractor agreements, payments, and account records. Support project controls, cost management, and commercial planning. Maintain project documentation and commercial records, including the Candy cost management system (Senior QS). Work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Requirements Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management, or a related field. Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor on civil or infrastructure projects. Good knowledge of contract administration and cost management. Experience with cost forecasting and commercial reporting. Experience using Candy software is highly desirable for the Senior QS role. Knowledge of NZS 3910, JDE, and TOC contracts is an advantage. Strong communication and organisational skills. Competitive salary of $110,000–$190,000 (negotiable depending on experience). #J-18808-Ljbffr
