Due to our growth and expansion of Classic Builders into the Manawatu region, with a strong pipeline of work available, we are now looking for a Construction Manager to join us. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll be the sole Construction Manager for the region and be primarily responsible for the project management of our homes in the Manawatu. Key responsibilities Managing the direction, schedule, and progress of allocated houses, ensuring that all timeframesand priorities are met. Ensuring the construction of ourbuildsare delivered in full, on time and in spec. Ensuringa high level of customer service is delivered during the construction of all new homes so that the Classic Builders brand continues to deliver excellence and high quality. Developing and maintaining quality, positive relationships with suppliers and contractors. Maintaining strong relationships and communication with our clients. Quality Assurance and Health and Safety duties. As a Construction Manager, you will get satisfaction knowing that we are handing over the keys to a brand-new home that is built on time, to budget, in spec, and with no compromise to quality or safety. This role offers great opportunity for growth and is a combination of both site and office-based work in Fielding. The hours of work are typically 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.00pm. The successful candidate will be provided with full training, guidance and support along with a company vehicle and mobile. What you’ll bring to Classic. A qualification in Construction Management would be an advantage Experiencein residential construction project management Technically competent to pick up new software & applications The holder of a full & clean NZ Drivers licence Current first aid certificate Ability to offer advice and problem solve Ability to manage time and multiple projects Why join our team?
