About Us The Honu Restaurant is a contemporary eatery and traditional Hawaiian style tiki bar with a relaxed vibe serving island‑style dishes. We serve unique and creative cocktails and mocktails. Inside Honu is the Ka Pakele private rum bar with some of the most sought‑after and high‑end rums from around the world. Quality is at the heart of everything we do. We are a high‑volume venue located in Downtown Dunedin and looking to add true professionals to our team. We believe in a unique experience paired with delicious cocktails. Bartender Responsibilities This position requires serving customers while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Arrives for shifts in a clean uniform and maintains good hygiene. Trained to be well‑versed in all menu items and daily specials, as well as all alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages. Take orders while suggesting and upselling menu items and specials. Maintains a clean and safe working environment. Assist co‑workers when necessary. Takes initiative and shares ideas to improve the quality of service when the opportunity arises. Bartender Qualifications Minimum of 3 years experience in mixology/craft cocktails AND high volume. Extensive cocktail theory, history, and build knowledge. Excels in hospitality and guest relations, outgoing personality. Desire to grow, self‑motivated, eager to learn. Am able to work independently and with an intimate team. Be accustomed to multitasking in high volume situations. Be able to execute classics as well as create cocktails. Detail oriented, organized, clean, passionate, self‑motivator. Tiki history and rum knowledge a must. Preferred Skills Knowledge and passion for craft cocktails, beer and wine. Dedication to hospitality and service. A good sense of humor and positive attitude. Ability to multitask, especially in high volume situations. Excellent communication, organization and prioritization. Willingness to learn.
