About the Role As a Personal Assistant, you will provide high‑level executive and administrative support to the General Manager and Leadership Team, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of services that support healthcare delivery across Hawke's Bay. This is a fast‑paced and varied role where you'll be a trusted partner to senior leaders, managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings and events, preparing professional communications, and handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion. You'll play a key role in keeping priorities on track, supporting projects and operational activities, and enabling leaders to focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for our community. About the Team/Service/Location Our Support Services team provides essential operational, administrative and strategic support across Health New Zealand | Te Matau a Māui Hawke's Bay. Working closely with leaders across a diverse range of services, the team helps ensure the organisation can deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care to the people of Hawke's Bay. Based at Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, you'll join a collaborative and professional environment that values innovation, continuous improvement and strong working relationships. About you As a Personal Assistant, you will be a highly organised and proactive professional who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys supporting senior leaders to achieve their goals. Significant experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or Office Management role supporting senior leaders. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with a customer‑focused approach. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, professionalism and integrity.
