Customer Coordinator

We’re looking for a Customer Coordinator to join our team based in Morrinsville and play a key role in keeping customers, communities, and project teams informed and connected. This role requires you to coordinate communications, manage enquiries, and support infrastructure delivery across the region. It offers exposure to diverse stakeholders and opportunities for skill development. Key responsibilities Coordinate customer and stakeholder communications for planned works and projects Respond to customer enquiries and help resolve issues in a timely and professional manner Prepare notifications, letters, updates, and other communication materials Build positive relationships with councils, community groups, customers, and internal teams Maintain accurate records, databases, and reporting information Provide administration and coordination support to operational and project teams What you’ll bring to the role A tertiary qualification in communications, business administration, marketing, public relations, media, or a related field, or equivalent experience Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Confidence building relationships with a wide range of people Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate record keeping Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a genuine focus on delivering great customer service What’s on offer Competitive salary package KiwiSaver employer contribution matched up to 4% In‑house technical training and leadership development programmes Career opportunities across Higgins and Fletcher Construction A range of retail benefits for you and your family to enjoy Research shows that females and minority groups don’t always apply for roles unless they match 100% of the requirements.
