Auckland | Full-time 40 hrs | Salary: $26.85 per hour, equivalent to approximately $55,848 per year We are seeking a Healthy Homes Assessor & Smoke Alarm Technician with strong people skills, knowledge of the construction/building industry, technical expertise, familiarity with client interactions, and the ability to learn quickly. Key responsibilities include servicing and installing smoke alarms, completing Healthy Homes assessments, and communicating with clients/contacts on-site. About the Role We are looking for a Smoke Alarm Technician & Healthy Homes Assessor to join our Tauranga team. You work independently, so you don\'t drive to the office each day. Instead, your first job is often nearby where you live. This role primarily involves installing and assessing smoke alarms using our tools/systems. These are stand-alone (non-complex/wired) battery-powered smoke alarms. Initial growth in this role looks like learning to undertake Healthy Homes assessments. We are looking for someone self-motivated, who has great time management, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic to meet the needs of our clients. Requirements You must be a New Zealand citizen or hold a valid work visa Knowledge/experience in construction/building Professional English language proficiency Experience dealing with customers Excellent time management skills A clean, current, and full New Zealand driver\'s licence A high ability to follow and understand instructions Advanced competency/experience with technology Currently based in New Zealand Why Join Us?
