About the role Enjoy an active role in our Aquatic Centre where you will play an important part in the day‑to‑day running of our recently extended and modern facility. These are part‑time roles with a set roster. As part of our team you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment and delivering exceptional customer service. Provide effective teamwork. Maintain a safe environment for all customers. Deliver exceptional customer service to facility users. Pro‑actively supervise the pool environment to prevent incidents, accidents, emergencies, and hazards. Shifts Wednesday: 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm Friday: 5:30 am – 1:30 pm Saturday: 2:00 pm – 8:30 pm Sunday: 12:30 pm – 7:00 pm Casual roles are also available. About you Our ideal candidate has a genuine interest in aquatics or sport and recreation and is highly motivated to learn. Experience in a customer‑facing role. Effective communication skills. Passion for community safety and wellness. Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people. Proactive, motivated, and keen to learn. Confident swimming ability and able to pass a swim test. Swimming Test Criteria 200 m continuously in less than 6 min 50 m breaststroke 25 m side stroke 5 min treading water Pick up an object from the deepest part of the pool (2 m) Safety & Vetting All applicants must meet satisfactory safety checks, including police vetting.
