We’relooking for an experienced highly capable Finance Manager who operates in thesame way—someone who takes pride in getting the fundamentals right but alsowants to understand how the business really works. Reporting tothe CFO, you’ll take ownership of financial reporting, keep a close eye on theintegrity of the numbers, and make sure the day-to-day finance engine runs well. You willmanage a team and will be working alongside leaders across the business tosupport decision-making. You’ll be across the detail—balance sheetreconciliations, financial statements, and making sure everything stacks up asit should. There’s alsoa strong focus on improving how we do things. Whether it’s tightening upprocesses, lifting the quality of reporting, or getting better use out ofsystems, we’re always looking for a smarter way. Supervising and supporting thefinance team in daily tasks Ensuring month end relatedaccounts and finance related tasks are completed within setdeadlines Preparation of monthlymanagement, Board reports, annual accounts, year end and periodic taxcalculations Lead budgeting,planning, and financial forecasting Effectivelymanaging daily cashflow and payment processes for the group Ensuring all tax payments aremade to meet IRD deadlines and supervising the preparation and filing ofstatutory returns, income tax returns, and the payment of relevant taxes Own contract and financialmodelling, risk assessment, and scenario analysis Ensure key financial internalcontrols are maintained and reviewedTaking thelead on contract management and supplier relationships across a broadrange of categories Drivingsupplier performance to ensure that contracts are being delivered to thehighest standards, meeting both operational and financial goals Provide advice and suggestions to develop the financial systems inaccordance with best practice. Help identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities across thebusiness Liaise with external parties Providing training, guidance,and performance feedback to team members What we’re looking for At least 3 years proven experiencein a Finance Manager role, managing a team Strong understanding of NZ taxlegislation, IFRS and financial reporting, including for multi-entity consolidation Commercial mindset—you lookbeyond the numbers and a proactive, improvement-focused mindset High attention to detail, butnot at the expense of pragmatism Someone who takes ownership andfollows things through Confident working withstakeholders across the business Systems savvy, ideally experience with NetSuite, or similar & financialmodelling advanced Excel skills, and BI/reporting experience Strong knowledge of contractframeworks, procurement principles and property management would be highlyrelevant Proactive, results-driven, resilient, and committed to continuousimprovement.
