Overview The Vet Centre is seeking a dedicated Companion Animal or Mixed Veterinarian to join our team. With five clinics spanning the Kaipara and Bream Bay regions, we offer professional fulfilment and an idyllic lifestyle. Responsibilities Provide companion animal and mixed veterinary care across a varied caseload from family pets to farm dogs. Service dairy, sheep & beef and equine clients; participate in large animal work as appropriate. Collaborate with an experienced team of mixed and companion animal vets, vet nurses, techs, and customer service staff to deliver collaborative care. Contribute to a positive working environment and maintain high standards of medicine and surgery. Provide after-hours service as part of a local on-call or after-hours arrangement. Plus, with internal referral to our ultrasound expert and an orthopaedic guru, alongside proximity to referral clinics in Auckland, you’ll have everything you need to excel in your role, with the added bonus of providing a vital not-too-busy local after-hours service. About The Vet Centre We’re a fast-growing mixed practice, with close to 50 employees. We have recently changed from a vet club ownership model to an independent practice, with back-office support from Franklin Vets and all four owners working as veterinarians in the business.
