Seipp Construction is delivering the $23 million East Clive Wastewater Treatment Plant Outfall Pump Station and Land Based Outfall Works for Hastings District Council. This is a complex civil infrastructure project that will help protect the region's wastewater network for decades to come. Running through until May 2028 , it offers the rare opportunity to be part of a significant project while remaining based in Hawke's Bay. No FIFO. No weeks away from home. About the Project Working alongside an experienced project team, you'll be involved in the delivery of: Construction of a new permanent wastewater pump station Large diameter pipeline installation and renewal Mechanical and electrical upgrades Complex temporary works and staged construction Live operational wastewater infrastructure Every day will bring new technical challenges and opportunities to learn. About the Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll play a key role in coordinating day-to-day construction activities by: Assisting with planning and programming of works Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers Monitoring quality, productivity and progress Supporting cost control and project reporting Preparing site documentation, ITPs and as‑built records Promoting strong health and safety leadership on site Working closely with supervisors, engineers and the client to keep the project moving. About You We're looking for someone who enjoys being out on site and wants to continue developing their engineering career. Ideally you'll have: Around 2-5 years' experience in civil infrastructure construction Experience on three waters, structures or heavy civil projects (advantageous) Strong planning and organisational skills A practical, solutions‑focused approach The confidence to build strong relationships with crews, subcontractors and clients A commitment to safety, quality and doing the job properly.
