Opportunity We’re looking for a customer‑focused Internal Sales Representative to join our CustomerLink team based in Penrose, Auckland. In this role, you will deliver high‑quality telephone‑based customer service, ensuring orders are processed accurately and enquiries are handled promptly. You will be a key contact for customers, helping them with product, pricing, and technical information while ensuring seamless fulfilment and a positive end‑to‑end experience. This is a full‑time position working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. What You’ll Do Provide timely and accurate customer service via phone, delivering clear product, pricing, and technical information Enter and manage customer orders in SAP, ensuring accuracy and on‑time fulfilment Respond to enquiries within one hour and process customer credits within 24 hours Maintain high‑accuracy standards, low order‑entry error rates, and strong call‑handling performance Manage Salesforce cases and maintain detailed customer interaction records across systems Conduct outbound monthly calls to Key Account customers to strengthen relationships and uncover opportunities Identify upsell opportunities and recommend value‑adding product solutions Support promotional campaigns and capture customer insights for continuous improvement Collaborate closely with Sales, Logistics, Technical and CustomerLink colleagues to ensure issue resolution and service excellence What you’ll bring Minimum 2+ years’ experience in customer service, internal sales, or call‑centre environments (preferred high‑volume) Experience with SAP is a must, Salesforce or other CRM/ERP experience is ideal Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical information and build strong rapport High accuracy in data entry, order processing and problem resolution Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions Ability to stay calm, professional and outcomes‑focused in fast‑paced or high‑pressure situations Certificate or diploma in Customer Service, Business, Sales, or Contact Centre Operations advantageous Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) and ability to learn new systems quickly Working @ James Hardie Stable growth at a global building products manufacturer Bonus scheme for all eligible employees Product discounts Paid Primary and Secondary Parental Leave with no minimum service requirements Annual Flu injections A robust rewards and recognition program International & domestic development and progression opportunities Access to thousands of free self‑development modules via James Hardie University Employee Assistance Program access for you & your immediate family members It’s Possible™ with James Hardie #J-18808-Ljbffr
