Product Manager - Modular Packaged Plants

The role will involve: Developing and delivering product strategies for our modularpackaged plant portfolio Identifying customer needs, market opportunities, industrytrends and competitor activity Defining product positioning, specifications, pricing andcommercial strategies Working closely with engineering, sales, project deliveryand operations teams to develop product requirements and roadmaps Managing the full product lifecycle, from concept and designthrough to launch, delivery and ongoing support Supporting sales activities through technical input, productpresentations, proposals and customer engagement Ensuring packaged plant solutions meet performance, quality, customer and regulatory requirements Monitoring product performance and gathering feedback fromcustomers and internal teams Driving standardisation, innovation and continuousimprovement across the product portfolio Supporting the development of product documentation,technical information and marketing materials Skills, Qualifications and Experience Proven experience in product management, technical sales,engineering or a similar role Experience within the water, wastewater, environmental orinfrastructure sector is preferred A strong understanding of modular treatment systems,packaged plants or related technologies Commercial awareness and the ability to identify and developmarket opportunities Strong strategic planning, market analysis andproblem-solving skills The ability to translate customer and market requirementsinto practical product solutions Experience working effectively across engineering, sales,operations and project delivery teams Strong communication, presentation and stakeholdermanagement skills A relevant engineering, science, business or technicalqualification would be advantageous A genuine interest in sustainable water and wastewater treatment solutions What we offer: A role with genuine ownership and the opportunity to shape a growing product portfolio Varied and technically interesting projects across New Zealand A supportive and collaborative team environment Professional development and career progression opportunities The opportunity to work alongside experienced water and wastewater specialists Health insurance and an annual health and activity allowance A strong focus on wellbeing and work–life balance A workplace where ideas, initiative and contribution are valued Apex Water delivers water and wastewater treatment solutionsacross New Zealand, covering design, construction, commissioning, operationsand maintenance.
