Senior SAP Basis Consultant

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant to join our growing SAP practice in Auckland. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale SAP S/4HANA and RISE with SAP engagements, driving technical architecture, cloud transformation, and system optimization initiatives. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing SAP landscapes while working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and SAP to deliver innovative and scalable solutions. Location – New Zealand/ Australia Key Responsibilities Lead SAP Basis delivery and provide technical leadership across SAP landscapes. Deploy, configure, administer, and support SAP S/4HANA environments on RISE with SAP . Manage SAP system installations, upgrades, migrations, refreshes, and patching activities. Drive SAP Cloud ALM implementation and operational best practices. Ensure high availability, performance, security, and operational stability of SAP environments. Coordinate with SAP on critical incidents, upgrades, support tickets, and technical escalations. Support S/4HANA transformation and system conversion programs. Manage multi-landscape SAP environments across development, test, QA, and production systems. Lead technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization activities. Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and business teams to ensure successful SAP delivery. Provide guidance and mentoring to Basis consultants and technical teams. Ensure adherence to organizational standards, governance, and SAP best practices. Experience/Exposure 12–18 years of SAP experience across technical and functional environments. Proven experience leading SAP Basis teams and managing enterprise SAP landscapes. Minimum 3–4 end-to-end SAP implementations and at least one S/4HANA system conversion project. Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and RISE with SAP . Experience implementing and managing SAP Cloud ALM . Expertise in SAP installations, upgrades, migrations, system copies, and performance tuning. Strong understanding of SAP infrastructure, cloud platforms, databases, and integration technologies. Experience working with SAP support and managing complex technical issues. Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to lead technical teams and support large-scale SAP transformation programs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
