Overview Job Description: Our client is seeking a full-time Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a busy, well-equipped practice serving the wider Horowhenua community. This opportunity is suitable for an experienced clinician, although an enthusiastic and confident recent graduate will also be considered. The successful veterinarian will manage a varied companion animal caseload while working alongside skilled nurses and experienced clinicians with interests in medicine, surgery, and rehabilitation. The position provides excellent scope to strengthen existing abilities, explore new clinical interests, and contribute ideas within a supportive environment. Responsibilities Manage a varied companion animal caseload in a busy clinical setting. Collaborate with nurses and clinicians with interests in medicine, surgery, and rehabilitation. Contribute to the development of clinical capabilities and new ideas within a supportive team. Qualifications Veterinary degree eligible for registration in New Zealand. Previous small animal experience preferred, although recent graduates may be considered. Commitment to delivering attentive client service and high-quality patient care. Strong organisation and time-management skills within a busy clinical setting. Positive interpersonal approach with a genuine desire to learn and develop.
