Do you have a current Annual Practising Certificate from the Nursing Council of NZ? TeHerenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting an experienced Tapuhi - Practice Nurse to join our close-knit and supportive nursing team. The role is permanent, full-time with flexibility for the right candidate. Experience in primary care and/or using Indici would be an advantage. This is a clinical role, working with our awesome team of Nurses, GPs and Support staff to contribute to the delivery of effective quality primary care to University students in a challenging and yet very rewarding environment. You will also work closely with Student Counselling, Nurse Practitioners, Health Improvement Practitioners, the Health Coach and other Student Support teams. Ideally, you will have the following: Broad experience in a primary health care setting. Experience in triaging and assessment of acute needs. Experience in sexual health and contraception would be an advantage. Empathy and interest in working with a diverse student population. Experience and interest in working in Māori and Pasifika health an advantage. A genuine interest in younger people's health care needs. Familiarity and competence using Primary Care Medical Records Software. Current Annual Practising Certificate from the Nursing Council of NZ.
