Leading a high-performing business, inspiring a talented team, building meaningful relationships across our community, and driving growth for local clients through the power of New Zealand's leading audio and entertainment company. Based in New Plymouth, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of the market, leading revenue growth, customer relationships, team development and operational excellence. What You'll Do As General Manager, you will create and implement strategic growth plans and deliver exceptional client service resulting in exceeding financial objectives. Lead and develop a high-performing sales and promotions team Own the market P&L and deliver strong financial performance Build and execute growth strategies that drive revenue and market share Strengthen relationships with key clients, agencies, and community stakeholders Champion a customer-first culture and exceptional client outcomes Collaborate across Sales, Content, Promotions and Digital teams to maximise opportunities Represent MediaWorks as a visible and influential leader in the region What You'll Bring A successful track record in motivating a commercial team to optimize revenue opportunities and deliver great strategic outcomes for clients and the community. 6 to 8 years + experience in leadership roles and leading sales teams to deliver exceptional client service Strong commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance Exceptional leadership skills to coach, motivate and inspire others.
