As we continue to evolve how we govern, prioritise and deliver enterprise change, we're looking for an Enterprise Planning & Performance Manager on a fixed term basis (12 months) to help shape the future of ASB's investment portfolio. This is a high-impact role where you'll bring together strategic planning, portfolio governance, performance insights and risk management to create enterprise-wide clarity and confidence. You'll work across Tribes, Platforms and strategic initiatives to ensure we are investing in the right work, managing dependencies effectively and delivering meaningful outcomes for ASB. Te mahi ki ASB | What you'll do As Enterprise Planning & Performance Manager, you'll play a critical role in enabling enterprise-wide planning, governance and portfolio performance. You'll operate with an enterprise mindset, connecting strategy, execution and investment decisions across ASB's change portfolio. Key responsibilities include: Supporting strategic portfolio planning and governance activities across ASB's investment portfolio Coordinating annual and quarterly planning cycles, helping ensure alignment between strategic priorities and delivery capacity Partnering with Tribes, Platforms and business stakeholders to maintain portfolio roadmaps and manage key dependencies Monitoring portfolio performance through established governance forums, highlighting risks, issues and delivery impacts Maintaining portfolio data integrity, ensuring accurate reporting across milestones, risks, dependencies and benefits Identifying and escalating risks, dependencies and constraints to support informed decision-making and mitigation activities Preparing reporting and insights for governance forums, Executive Leadership Team and Board audiences Supporting planning, prioritisation and governance discussions by providing analysis, insights and recommendations Contributing to the ongoing improvement of portfolio governance frameworks, planning practices and execution guardrails Assisting with assurance activities and enterprise learning by identifying themes, opportunities and areas for improvement across programmes of work You'll be a strategic thinker who thrives in complexity and enjoys bringing clarity to ambiguity. You'll have a solid understanding of enterprise change and portfolio management, coupled with the influencing skills required to engage senior stakeholders and drive outcomes across a large organisation. Experience in portfolio management, planning, governance or delivery within a large and complex organisation Experience supporting planning, prioritisation and risk management activities across multiple initiatives or portfolios Demonstrated ability to identify and manage dependencies, constraints and competing priorities across programmes of work Experience preparing reporting and insights for governance forums and senior stakeholders Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across business and delivery teams Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving capability The ability to simplify complex information and create clarity through a structured and organised approach Experience using portfolio management or planning tools such as Planview, Microsoft Project Online or similar platforms Relevant qualification in Business, Finance, Technology or a related discipline Portfolio, programme or agile certifications such as MoP, PMP, MSP, SAFe POPM or Lean Portfolio Management are advantageous Our values are more than just words.
