Overview Registered Nurse - Renal Service, Bay of Islands Hospital, Kawakawa, Mid North, Northland. Permanent, part-time position working 32 hours per week (0.8 FTE). Travel to and from other dialysis units across Northland may be required. About the Role We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Renal Service team. This is an opportunity to develop specialist renal nursing skills in a supportive rural Northland environment with comprehensive training and ongoing professional development. You will provide safe, high-quality hemodialysis care to patients across the Mid North region, working with an experienced multidisciplinary team across outpatient, inpatient and community settings. The hospital is a 20-bed facility providing comprehensive medical and paediatric services supported by a wide range of clinical teams. About you Essential Requirements: Registered Nurse/Registered Comprehensive Nurse with current practicing certificate A minimum of 2 years post-graduate clinical experience Enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Committed to ongoing learning and professional development Commitment to working toward Competent PDRP level Has completed or is working toward a postgraduate qualification with a renal focus Previous renal or haemodialysis experience is desirable but not essential; full training and support will be provided for the right candidate Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
