Product Specialist – Roche Diagnostics Join Roche Diagnostics where we innovate to improve lives. We offer a dynamic role as a full‑time, permanent team member based in Auckland. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to internal and external customers, including training, troubleshooting, installation and commissioning of RD Analytical Systems. Develop and deliver comprehensive customer training and User Group content/events. Handle after‑sales support, complaint documentation, and technical/software updates in line with Roche’s Quality System. Maintain competence in the RD Analytical Systems portfolio and complete mandatory training. Provide technical input during sales processes and tenders, monitoring market intelligence. Ensure accurate documentation, stock management and up‑to‑date CRM records. Identify business opportunities and support account and service contract strategies. Comply with safety, health and environmental policies and work as a licensed driver where required. Qualifications Master’s degree in Biotechnology or related field; higher degrees advantageous. 5+ years of experience in Molecular Diagnostics (PCR, RT‑PCR, NAT) or a similar field. Strong scientific background, with a passion for learning and becoming a subject‑matter expert. Excellent communication, relationship‑building and network skills. Strategic thinker who can develop and execute plans through teamwork. Highly collaborative, with a focus on team outcomes. Openness to feedback and continuous personal and team growth. Energy to work in complex environments and the flexibility to travel on‑site; valid driving licence required. Compensation and Benefits Base salary: NZD 100,000–110,000 per annum.
