As a Graphic & Digital Designer, you will: Design and develop high-quality online, multimediaand print learning resources. Build andmaintainvisuallyengaging,accessibleand user-friendly learning content withinMoodle/iAkoranga. Create graphics, animations,motion-designelementsand multimedia assets thatenhancetauiralearning. Manage the end-to-end production of digitalcontent, from interpreting briefs through to final delivery. Collaborate with programme developers,instructionaldesignersand creative specialists to translatelearning outcomes into effective resources. Apply instructionaldesign,accessibilityand user-centred design principles toimprove engagement and usability. Support quality improvements,versioncontroland effective digital asset management. Ensure resources meet quality,accessibility,copyrightand regulatory requirements whilereflectingTeKaupapa Matua and bicultural values. We are looking for someone who has: A relevant qualification in Digital Media, GraphicDesign, Instructional Design, EducationalTechnology,Educationor a related field. Around five years’ relevant experience within atertiary or educational environment. Experiencedesigning,developingandmaintainingengaging digitallearning content within Moodle, including structuring resources andenhancing the learner experience. Strong graphic design, digital contentcreation,animationor motion-design skills. Confidence exploring and appropriately usingemerging technologies, including generative AI tools, to supportinnovative and efficient learning-resource design. Sound knowledge of instructionaldesign,accessibilityand adult learning principles. Strong project and time-management skills, with theability to manage multiple deliverables and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and relationship-buildingskills. A commitment to continuous improvement and creatingmeaningful learning experiences fortauira.
