Initial Hygiene Technician | Auckland

Overview Rentokil Initial is seeking a hands-on Hygiene Service Technician to join our Auckland team. This role delivers hygiene and cleaning services on-site, helps customers solve problems, and keeps sites running smoothly. It suits someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and strong customer interactions. This role is Monday to Friday, covering the Auckland Region. A work vehicle is provided to support daily travel. We have skills-based hiring to assess the actual skills needed for the job, making experience optional if you have the right capabilities. Benefits Company vehicle, fuel card, and mobile to keep you moving Uniform and PPE provided for safety Comprehensive training on our products and safety protocols Opportunity to grow with a global company Responsibilities Load and unload the service vehicle to complete daily assignments Perform cleaning services in washrooms and public toilets per job specifications and client policies Provide and maintain hygiene products, including toilet paper, paper towels, soap dispensers, sanitisers, sanitary bins and air fresheners Address hygiene risks and client concerns to improve work environments Complete service reports documenting services performed Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanour Remain aware of client needs and identify opportunities to improve service standards Qualifications Full-time, permanent work rights in NZ Full, clean driver’s licence and a clean criminal record Strong customer service and communication skills Physically fit with a strong focus on health and safety Self-motivated with good time management High attention to detail and high standards Confident using mobile apps and technology Flexible to travel and stay away overnight if needed Cleaning or hygiene experience is a bonus Right to live and work permanently in New Zealand Pre-employment checks including medical, reference, and criminal background checks #J-18808-Ljbffr
