Job Description
About the role The School of Veterinary Science is seeking a Tutor/Senior Tutor in Farm Animal Health to join our team. This position is a full-time, 12-month fixed term opportunity based on the Manawatu campus in Palmerston North. You will facilitate engaging learning experiences through tutorials, practical classes, workshops, laboratories, lectures, clinical instruction, and online teaching activities under the guidance of a designated Academic Lead. You will support student success by providing feedback, assisting with assessment processes, and maintaining positive student engagement. The role may also involve contributing to course materials, online learning environments, and teaching resources, while ensuring compliance with University policies, procedures, and relevant Animal Ethics requirements. About you You will have a BVSc, BVT, BVN or other relevant Veterinary or Allied Professional degree. You will also have: Recent, relevant teaching experience, preferably within a university or other tertiary teaching environment. Farm animal clinical experience. Experience in the use of electronic and online technologies in teaching is preferred. What\'s in it for you?
