Responsibilities Your day-to-day would look like: Managing recovery claims by investigating liability, pursuing recoveries from third parties, and working to recover costs as quickly as possible. Negotiating settlements with insurers and uninsured third parties to achieve fair commercial outcomes while minimizing claim costs. Monitoring and progress recovery activities, mitigating legal risks and avoiding litigation where possible to support affordable insurance for customers. Performance expectations In your first 6-12 months, success will look like: Managing a portfolio of recovery claims, progressing matters efficiently from assessment through to settlement and maximizing recovery outcomes for Tower. Building strong negotiation capability, achieving timely and cost-effective settlements with third parties and insurers while minimizing the need for litigation. Driving positive recovery results, using a range of contact and recovery strategies to improve debtor engagement and increase recoveries collected. Confidently navigating disputes and compliance requirements, managing Disputes Tribunal matters, following through on outcomes, and maintaining adherence to relevant legislation and industry codes. Developing trusted stakeholder relationships, working effectively with internal teams, external agents, insurers, and debtors to resolve claims and support successful business outcomes. Qualifications To thrive in this role, you\'ll need: 2 years’ experience in the Insurance or Financial Services Industry preferred. Experience of Recoveries, Settlement or Disputes Tribunal proceeding is an advantage Frontline or contact centre experience. An understanding of Insurance liability Excellent verbal and written skills Ability to communicate with empathy and understanding Knowing how to be assertive and respectful at the same time Quality orientated Results orientated Example: Excellent planning and organisation skills We invest in you We\'re serious about looking after our people.
