Production Operator

Join our team as a Production Operator at our Papakura site, where you'll play a key role in keeping our production lines running safely, efficiently, and at high quality.

Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for operating equipment, supporting production processes, and helping deliver the quality products our customers know and love. You'll work closely with your team to maintain safe operations, meet production targets, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Please note: This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery to meet safety, quality, and output targets
• Perform product and process quality checks to ensure standards are maintained
• Prepare and handle raw materials and packaging required for production
• Support basic troubleshooting and escalate equipment issues where required
• Assist with stocktaking and general production activities
• Minimise product loss by following established processes and procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety requirements
• Work collaboratively with your team to achieve daily production goals

About You

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
• Forklift licence (beneficial but not essential)
• Strong commitment to safety and following established processes
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• A proactive approach and positive attitude towards continuous improvement
