TeHerenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a permanent, full-time Senior Portfolio Adviser, Future Students to act as a key connector between the Student Engagement team in the University's Takitoru-Communications, Marketing and Digital Engagement group, and all future student-facing areas across the University.

You will:
- Build a deep understanding of what the areas focused on future student recruitment are trying to achieve, translate those priorities into clear communications and marketing plans, and coordinate specialist support so activity is focused, joined up, and timed around the future student journey.
- Help ensure future students, their parents, whanau, and other key influencers receive the right information, through the right channel, at the right time in their journey.
- Champion the needs of future students as they consider, apply, enrol, and arrive to begin their studies at Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington. You'll know how to use audience insights and university strategy to shape coordinated communications, marketing, and experience activity.
- Act as a trusted adviser to stakeholders, helping them navigate competing priorities and make informed decisions about where effort should be focused for greatest impact. By bringing together audience insight, institutional priorities, and specialist expertise, you'll help shape integrated, audience-centred experiences that improve outcomes for both future students and the University.
- Play a key role in monitoring performance, sharing insights, and driving continuous improvement to strengthen the University's approach to engaging future students.
The role leads intake, prioritisation, and planning across the future student portfolio, coordinates activity across specialist teams and ensures resources are focused on the areas that will have the greatest impact on recruitment and engagement outcomes.
