Our Palmerston North glazing team is looking for an experienced, trade-qualified (or equally experienced) Glazier to join us. From residential homes and commercial buildings to new construction and retrofit projects, no two days are the same. You’ll work across the wider Manawatū region, installing quality glass products safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. What you'll be doing. Installing, replacing and retrofitting glass in residential and commercial properties. Reading plans and specifications and measuring for glass installations. Removing and installing glass panels, frameless systems and other glazing products. Cutting glass and carrying out quality glazing work on site. Identifying and resolving installation issues while maintaining high workmanship standards. Working safely and ensuring all work complies with New Zealand Standards. Maintaining equipment, completing job documentation and delivering excellent customer service. Assisting with the training and support of apprentices where required. What we're looking for. We’re after someone who takes pride in their trade and enjoys working as part of a professional team. You’ll ideally have: NZ, Australian or UK Trade Qualification in Glazing (or equivalent), or at least 3 years’ proven glazing experience. Experience across commercial, residential and/or retrofit glazing projects. Structural glazing, frameless glass installation or retrofit experience highly regarded. Ability to read architectural drawings and product specifications. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think on your feet. A strong commitment to Health & Safety. Great communication skills and a customer‑first attitude. High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work. A full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence. Current Site Safe passport (or willingness to obtain one). Experience mentoring apprentices is an advantage. Flexibility to work occasional weekends when required. What's in it for you?
