An established New Zealand interiors business is looking for a consultative Sales Consultant to join their Christchurch team, servicing homeowners across the wider region. This is not retail counter sales. This is an in-home consultative role where you'll meet clients in their homes, guide them through product selections, measure spaces, prepare quotes, and help bring renovation and new-build projects to life. In-home consultations Measuring and quoting Product recommendations Managing customer relationships Following projects through to installation Building referral and repeat business opportunities What we’re looking for You do not need direct industry experience. We’re open to backgrounds such as: Curtains, Blinds or Shutters sales experience Interior design/showroom sales Kitchen, bathroom or flooring sales Furniture or homewares Residential building or renovation sales Consultative retail or in-home sales Most importantly, you will: Present professionally Build rapport easily Enjoy working with people Be organised and self-managing Have strong attention to detail Be motivated by sales and customer outcomes Location This territory services Rolleston and surrounding areas, with flexibility around where you are based locally.
