Mobile Auto Electrical Technician – Tauranga Job Type: Full Time Location: Tauranga Closing By: 15 August 2026 Are you a skilled Automotive Electrician looking for a role with freedom, variety, and genuine career progression? We’re searching for our next Mobile Auto Electrical Technician to service our commercial clients and assist our workshop crew when required. In this full‑time permanent position, you will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a fully equipped mobile workshop vehicle stocked with the equipment you need. You can expect a broad and interesting workload that includes trucks, commercial fleets, light vehicles, motorcycles and performance vehicles. You will handle system design, installations and custom fitouts while working both independently on the road and in collaboration with our workshop‑based technicians. Responsibilities Design, install, and fit electrical systems for a variety of vehicle types. Diagnose and repair complex electrical faults in commercial and performance vehicles. Work independently on the road and collaborate with workshop technicians to ensure seamless service delivery. Manage your own day, schedules, and client relationships to maintain high customer satisfaction. Maintain and service the mobile workshop vehicle and its equipment. Qualifications High‑level automotive electrical knowledge and strong diagnostic capabilities. Proven hands‑on experience as an automotive electrician. Mechanical knowledge is highly advantageous. Demonstrated confidence working independently and managing a full day’s workload. Professional client‑relationship skills and ability to communicate effectively.
