Position Overview Registered Nurse – General Ward / Emergency Department, Bay of Islands Hospital, Kawakawa. Permanent full‑time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday rostered shifts. About the Service and Location Bay of Islands Hospital is a 20‑bed facility providing comprehensive medical, paediatric and community health services to the Bay of Islands and Mid North regions. Key Responsibilities Utilise professional nursing knowledge to deliver a safe, holistic approach to patient care for ward and emergency department patients. Essential Qualifications Nursing Council registration with a current practising certificate. Recent clinical experience, ideally in a rural setting. People‑oriented interests and demonstrated ability to practice culturally safe care. Competency in te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or willingness to learn and develop in these areas.
