Mixed Veterinarian

Role Overview NewPlymouth District Vet Group seeks a mixed animal veterinarian with at least two years’ experience to provide veterinary care for dairy cows, lifestyle blocks, and companion animals in the Taranaki region. Requirements At least 2 years of experience in a mixed animal veterinary practice. Confident working with mixed practice and building client relationships. Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation. Enjoy delivering excellent outcomes for animals and their owners. Responsibilities Provide clinical care across a mixed animal caseload, collaborate within a supportive team, and participate in shared after‑hours rota. Benefits Base salary starting from around NZD 100,000+ with higher packages for experienced veterinarians. Overtime paid as additional hours or time off in lieu. Flexible schedule options including a 4‑day week or 9‑day fortnight. Shared after‑hours rota with support from a second veterinarian.
