What's On Offer Competitive hourly rate based on experience between $35 - $45 per hour Overtime paid at time and a half Ongoing manufacturer training and development Exposure to leading truck and engine brands Modern, clean and well-equipped workshop facilities Stable, full-time permanent position Supportive team environment Relocation assistance considered for the right candidate The Role Working alongside a highly experienced team, you'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a variety of trucks and trailers while helping keep Taranaki's transport industry moving. Key Responsibilities Include Servicing and maintaining trucks and trailers Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs Performing mechanical, electrical and diagnostic work Completing modifications and custom repairs where required Working collaboratively with the wider workshop team Delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service About You Trade qualification in Heavy Automotive or equivalent experience At least 3 years' experience in a diesel, truck or heavy vehicle workshop Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities A positive attitude and willingness to learn The ability to work independently and as part of a team A commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
