About the Role As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiology Service, you’ll provide high‑quality, evidence‑based care to patients and their whānau experiencing a range of cardiac conditions. You’ll complete comprehensive assessments, develop and evaluate care plans, deliver clinical interventions, and support patients to understand and manage their health. Each day brings variety – you may be monitoring cardiac patients, supporting diagnostic procedures, coordinating care with the wider clinical team, or ensuring seamless patient flow. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment where patient safety, communication and clinical excellence are at the heart of everything we do. This is a rewarding role for a nurse who enjoys building strong therapeutic relationships and thrives in a fast‑paced, specialist setting. About the Team / Service / Location Our Cardiology Service at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital is a supportive, skilled and collaborative team of nurses, doctors and allied health professionals. We work together to deliver safe, patient‑centred cardiac care, supported by strong leadership and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. About You Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a valid Annual Practising Certificate. Experience applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in nursing practice. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Excellent time‑management and the ability to adapt in a busy clinical environment. Desired: A current PDRP portfolio.
