Job Description
Responsibilities Installation, servicing and maintenance of Canon products Diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults Support network connectivity and system performance Provide operator training to maximise equipment performance Provide onsite or remote support to maximise efficiencies and customer experience Build strong, long‑term customer relationships Deliver against SLAs and keep customers informed Conduct site inspections to support installations and upgrades Collaborate with sales and internal teams on opportunities Manage service tasks, parts and stock effectively Ensure compliance with safety, quality and sustainability standards Requirements 2-3 years’ experience as a service technician within the industry or within a related field such as IT, electrical engineering, electronics A relevant qualification in IT, electrical engineering, electronics or similar would be preferred, but not essential Strong problem‑solving skills and a practical, hands‑on approach Strong computer literacy, with confidence learning new systems and technologies Ability to build positive relationships with customers Clear communication skills, both written and verbal Good organisation skills with the ability to manage tasks and priorities Current New Zealand driver’s licence (essential) Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in the installation, servicing and maintenance of Canon products, with a strong focus on diagnosing hardware and software faults.
