Design Engineer - Power Systems

Role Design Engineer within the Power Systems team, responsible for developing and delivering engineering solutions for generator and power infrastructure projects across New Zealand. Key Responsibilities Develop electrical, mechanical and control system designs for Power Systems projects, ensuring solutions are technically robust, compliant and fit for purpose. Produce and review engineering documentation, specifications and technical deliverables to support successful project outcomes. Provide technical advice and support during tender and design‑build processes, including scope reviews, risk assessment and commercial input. Support project delivery through design reviews, site support, commissioning activities and resolution of engineering challenges. Experience in a power systems, power generation or related engineering environment. Experience with or strong understanding of tender requirements, including design and build processes, legislation, compliance obligations and commercial considerations. Experience developing practical and commercially viable engineering solutions. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, project and customer teams. Exposure to Caterpillar power systems products and technologies would be highly regarded. #J-18808-Ljbffr
