About the Position We have a 0.8 FTE permanent Clinical Nurse Specialist position available as part of our multi-disciplinary team. The role is an advanced nursing practice role, responsible for providing excellence in clinical care and liaison, for patients and whānau with complex palliative care needs. Additionally, the role includes day to day clinical leadership for a geographical area. About You Important to this role is the ability to work alongside primary providers of palliative care in collaborative partnership. The successful candidate will have advanced clinical assessment skills, in prioritising and coordinating reviews of patients with complex needs, and an ability to build clinical networks maintaining excellent relationships with other health professionals. We are looking for a candidate with at least 4 years post-registration relevant experience, a postgraduate diploma in palliative care or equivalent, and a driver licence.
