The team works at the centre of engineering, maintenance and operations, ensuring aircraft remain safe, compliant and ready for use.As a Technical Support Aeronautical Armament Advisor, you'll help ensure the safe and effective performance of RNZAF aircraft systems, supporting the ongoing airworthiness and capability of critical equipment.This will include:Provide technical advice on armament equipment and configuration controlSupport the introduction and modification of aircraft equipmentInvestigate defects and contribute to flight safety outcomesAnalyse data and produce reports to support maintenance decisionsDevelop and maintain technical documentation and instructionsWork closely with Air Force units, engineers, and external partnersContribute to the lifecycle management of specialised aviation equipmentPlease Note: The formal title for this role within NZDF is Aeronautical Armament 2A.This role is based at RNZAF Base Ohakea. Due to the nature of this role, there is no option to work remotely. You bring strong analytical skills and can communicate complex information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
