Job Description

Senior Manager Portfolio Reporting & Performance (Fintech): Leading the design, delivery, and governance of the Country Banking portfolio performance and reporting strategy with an accent on providing high‑quality analysis and insights to the Country Banking Leadership Team. Focus on converting complex data into meaningful insights that support confident, evidence‑based decision‑making across the business. Location: Onsite in Hamilton, New Zealand What you will do Lead the development and delivery of high‑quality portfolio reporting, forecasting, and insights that support strategic decisions and performance management. Act as the single point of contact for Country Banking reporting, managing intake, prioritisation, and governance of regular and ad‑hoc reports. Monitor portfolio performance across KPIs, benchmarks, strategic objectives, and Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) metrics. Provide forward‑looking insights on emerging risks, market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments. Ensure data integrity, consistency and accuracy through strong reporting controls, reconciliations, and exception management. Build capability across Country Banking by driving adoption of reporting tools and uplifting analytical capability. Requirements 10+ years’ experience in portfolio reporting, analytics, strategy, finance, or related disciplines. Expertise in advanced analytics tools (Excel, SQL, Power Query, Power BI, AI‑enabled analytics). Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Demonstrated experience building or leading reporting and performance frameworks. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior levels.
