About the Role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager with a background in Civils to lead the civil works on a major commercial construction project in Auckland. If you are a seasoned professional in civil project management, passionate about delivering projects on time, within budget, and with a strong focus on safety and quality, we want to hear from you. Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of the civils package on a large‑scale commercial construction project. Manage site logistics and ensure smooth operations throughout. Collaborate with the team to control project costs, ensuring efficiency and cost‑effectiveness. Lead and manage the civils project team and subcontractors, working closely with planners and engineers. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, building codes, and regulations. Proactively manage risk and resolve issues as they arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication of any operational impacts. Oversee project documentation, including contracts, permits, and safety reports. About You Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred). At least 10 years of experience in civil project management, particularly in commercial construction. Demonstrated success in managing large projects from start to finish. Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills. In‑depth knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and safety protocols. Ability to thrive under pressure and manage time effectively. Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Primavera 6).
