About the opportunity Fluid Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well-established and highly regarded Wellington law firm in the search for an Employment Lawyer to join its specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE who is looking to further develop their career alongside recognised experts in employment law. The team advises a diverse client base across a broad spectrum of employment and workplace matters. You’ll gain exposure to both advisory and contentious work, including employment agreements, disciplinary and performance processes, restructures, personal grievances, investigations, mediation, and Employment Relations Authority matters. The team is known for providing practical, commercially focused advice while maintaining a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages ongoing professional development. About you To be successful in this role, you will: Hold a current New Zealand practising certificate (or be eligible to obtain one). Have at least 2 years' PQE, up to Associate level. Have experience in employment law. Be a confident communicator with strong drafting and analytical skills. Enjoy building client relationships and delivering practical, solution-focused advice.
