Checkout Supervisor

New World Feilding is looking for a cheerful and reliable person to joinour Checkout Team on a full-time or part-time basis. You’ll be overseeing and working in our busycheckout team on the front line and ensuring our customers are receivingoutstanding service, You will be working with a committed and motivated team who pridesthemselves on the quality produce and service we offer our customers here atNew World. Working with the Checkout team in this busy and customer focusedenvironment, this role has a mixture of Checkout Supervisor and CheckoutOperator tasks. In this role you couldexpect to be: Organising the daily operation of the checkout department including teammembers breaks Serving customers in a warm and welcoming way Supervising Self Serve Checkouts Dealing with cash and payment transactions Enforcing legislation around the sale of age restricted goods Operating a Checkout Process lotto transactions Resolving customer complaints Ensuring all transactions are processed correctly Ensuring all cleaning is completed Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times Here's what you'll need: To be physically fit – you’ll be on your feet all day, and movingbetween Checkouts and Supervising Self Checkouts Customer service driven – you’ll spend a lot of time helping ourcustomers Have excellent communication skills Be reliable, we are a close team and you’ll be missed if you’re nothere! Have a good work ethic Be able to work well under pressure Cope with the seasonal demands of working in a busy retail team What's in it for you?
