Mana Ake Clinical Programme Lead

About the Role Permanent, full-time role based in Northland working out of one of the four Community Mental Health and Addiction service sites. Lead the clinical delivery of an innovative wellbeing programme supporting tamariki, whānau and schools across Te Tai Tokerau. Influence system-wide outcomes through leadership, partnership and service development while working alongside a passionate multidisciplinary team. About the Team/Service/Location Mana Ake is a collaborative wellbeing programme that supports the emotional wellbeing of children in primary and intermediate schools across Te Tai Tokerau. Working alongside education, health and community partners, the programme focuses on early intervention, building resilience and strengthening support networks for tamariki and whānau. Working out of one of the four Northland community sites and part of the Mental Health and Addiction Service, you’ll join a dedicated team committed to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori, Pacific peoples and diverse communities across Northland. Qualifications Registration as a Health Practitioner with a current practising certificate and the ability to practise in a mental health setting At least 7 years post-registration experience, including a minimum of 3 years working within child and youth mental health services Proven experience providing clinical supervision, leadership, coaching and support to multidisciplinary teams Strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, cultural safety and working effectively with Māori, Pacific peoples and diverse communities Excellent relationship-building, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across health, education and social service sectors Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
